APC condems the killing of PDP Woman Leader in Kogi State
All Progressive Party (APC) has condemned the killing of the woman leader of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kogi State, stating that anybody who would be found culpable would face the music irrespective of party affiliation.
Jibril Abu, Publicity Secretary of the party in Kogi State told Daily Independent on Tuesday that APC as a peaceful party would never tolerate violence in any form, maintaining that Governor Yahaya Bello had told law enforcement agencies to fish out the perpetrators of the heinous act and bring them to justice.
The APC chieftain said it was a case of post election violence and the party did not like that because it was the life of someone that was involved and the governor on a television programme on Tuesday said that whoever was responsible, no matter their connections or status, would not be spared. He said that was enough to tell anyone that the APC had never supported violence.
