Ganduje seized and demolished land worth N250m belongs to Emir Sanusi, compensates N4.5m
The Kano state government has seized and demolished a plot belonging to Kano Emir, Muhammadu Sanusi II, worth N250 million, and has paid N4.5 million as compensation.
This was contained in an investigation carried out by Daily Nigerian and Kano Focus jointly.
There are disputes between the Kano state governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and Emir Sanusi II, as the Kano government, under the leadership of Governor Ganduje created four new emirates.
Last week, a high court in Kano under Justice Usman Na’bah canceled a law that would allow the state government to create 4 new emirates.
