Taj Bank started operations in Nigeria as second NNon-interest Bank, headquartered in Abuja, now expanded its branch to Kano State in order to capture additional market and to compete with Jaiz Bank.
The lunching ceremony witnessed Board members of the TajBank, staff as well as other elites, Daily trust reports
In a statement by the chairman of TajBank, Alhaji Tanko Isiyaku Gwamna, he congratulated the management and staff he said, “We are a bank desirous of contributing our quota to the development of the Non-Interest banking sector in Nigeria and this is firmly entrenched in our mission.
Gwamna declared how the yearning of Kano citizens encourage them to open shop in the state in order to provide exceptional service to their customers
Founder and Chief Operations Officer, Mr Hamid Joda, said “Launching our second office in Kano has proven to be one of the best business decisions we have made so far. The city of Kano has welcomed TAJBank warmly and we are grateful for the reception we have received.”
TajBank offers series of products and service made available to all Nigerians regardless of their religion.
The products offered by the Bank are selected on the basis of providing alternative to interest generating Banks.
The products are;
Partnership/ Mudarabah: a form of partnership business which profit and loss are shared between clients and the TajBank, Lease/Ijarah, Saving and current accounts.
